1. Analysis of China Molybdenum Price Trends in January 2026
According to CTIA GROUP LTD, in January 2026 the price trend of China molybdenum products was first strong upward, then rational callback, and then sideways operation. At the beginning of the month, molybdenum raw material prices continued the strong upward trend from the end of last year, mainly attributed to simultaneous increases in steel tender volume and price as well as obvious quotation increases from mainstream molybdenum mining enterprises; in the middle of the month, due to reduced acceptance of high-priced goods by downstream users and gradual exhaustion of bullish support, suppliers rationally lowered quotations; at the end of the month, against the background of relatively balanced supply and demand, product prices fluctuated within a narrow range.
